Previously, he has consulted for Synthes Spine, led the Development Technology Team at NuVasive, and worked in Product Development at Depuy Spine.
Founder Brian Bowman is a Founder at Cor Medical Ventures. He has over 10 years experience in bringing medical devices to market. Prior to his current role, Brian was at Synthes Spine and N Spine Inc.
Founder Jude Paganelli leads the business development and administrative activities at Cor Medical Ventures. He holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and a master’s degree in Bioengineering from UC Berkeley and San Francisco. Jude began his medical device R&D career at Johnson & Johnson and Stryker Osteonics. Most recently, Jude was CTO/COO of N Spine, which was acquired in 2007 by Synthes.
Associate Manager, Product Development Operations Kristen Peña, Associate Manager and Product Development Operations at Cor Medical Ventures, has an M.Eng in Bioengineering from the University of California, San Diego and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT.
Engineering Manager Ryan Watson is an Engineering Manager at Cor Medical Ventures. Ryan has over 13 years of experience in medical devices with roles at N Spine Inc., Synthes Spine, Lanx, and Zimmer Biomet. Previous to Cor, Ryan served as an engineering manager within the Spine devision of Zimmer Biomet.

Prior to joining Cor, she interned with Smith&Nephew in their Women’s Health division and was a summer associate for Medtronic in their São Paulo, Brazil office.
Design Engineer Davion Deans is a Design Engineer at Cor Medical Ventures. He received his bachelor of science in Mechanical Engineering from MIT. Prior to joining Cor, Daivon interned as an R/D Engineer in lower limb prosthetics at the MIT Media Lab Biomechantronics Group.

Business Development Manager Steve Spring is the Business Development Associate at Cor Medical Ventures. He received his bachelor’s degree in International Business from San Diego State University. Prior to joining Cor, Steve sold orthopedic trauma and extremity implants to orthopedic surgeons in San Diego.
Designer Brandon Duquesnel is a designer with 10 years experience in medical devices. Brandon has had roles at Synthes Spine, Torrey Spine, and Next Orthosurgical previous to Cor.
Operations and Finance Manager Alyson Ronald is the Operations and Finance Manager at Cor Medical Ventures. She holds a bachelors degree in Biology from the University of Rochester and an MBA, with a focus in finance, from the University of San Diego. Alyson previously served as a Naval Aviator and has over 15 years of experience in operations and strategy.
